K-6 Tutoring
Our tutoring sessions are led by highly experienced primary school teachers, equipped with an in-depth understanding of the NSW syllabus and its stage-specific outcomes. With a dedicated focus on literacy and numeracy, these educators deliver targeted instruction in reading, writing, and mathematical concepts. Through explicit teaching methods, they break down complex ideas into digestible chunks, ensuring students grasp foundational skills and concepts effectively. By fostering a supportive learning environment, our teachers empower students to build confidence and achieve success in English and Maths aligned with the NSW syllabus standards.
Reading
As experienced educators, we understand that reading is a complex skill. Successful reading is dependent on six components: oral language, phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, fluency and comprehension. We will support your child by assessing them and tailoring our program to their learning needs so they can develop the skills and confidence to succeed in school and beyond.
Mathematics
At Explore and Learn, we believe that everyone can become proficient in math with the right mindset and approach. Our tutoring services are designed to improve our students' conceptual understanding of math, build confidence in their abilities, and foster positive attitudes toward the subject. By using authentic problems and engaging with the material in meaningful ways, we help our students develop a deeper understanding of math that will benefit them in all aspects of their lives.
Writing
Whether you're struggling with a particular writing assignment or want to improve your overall writing skills, Explore and Learn has you covered. Our tutors are experienced in working with students from a wide range of skill levels. We focus on developing each student's writing skills through tailored lessons that focus on the their strengths and weaknesses. Our goal is to help students become confident, successful writers who can communicate their ideas effectively, develop strong ideas, sentence structure, and punctuation skills.

Tuition Fees
Each child’s tuition is $51 per session, with payments required every 5 weeks. For our 5-week program, the total cost is $255. If you enrol your child in both English and Math, you’ll receive a 10% discount on the fees for the second subject.
