The Program
COST: $100 per child for one day or $180 for 2 days

Day 1: October 2nd – Cookie Project-Based Learning & Creativity 9am-3pm

Project-Based Learning: Children will design and make their own cookies, experimenting with a variety of toppings.

Persuasive Skills: They will learn about persuasive devices and techniques to promote and advertise their cookie creations.

STEM Challenge: The children will design and create their own packaging for their cookies.

Craft Activities: Alongside their STEM challenge, children will enjoy crafting activities including photo frame making, origami, and using modelling clay.
Day 2: October 3rd – The Lorax Theme 9am-3pm

Story Time & Discussion: We will read Dr. Seuss’s picture book, The Lorax, and engage in a discussion about its themes.

Literary Analysis: Children will answer both literal and inferential questions to deepen their understanding of the story.

Persuasive Writing: They will write a persuasive text to convince their audience to take action to save the trees, inspired by the book’s message.

Mathematical Problem Solving: Children will tackle The Lorax-themed multiplication and division word problems using arrays and concrete materials, making math both engaging and relevant.

Board Games: To finish the day, children will unwind and have fun playing board games, encouraging social interaction and strategic thinking.
